Amy Self

Amy has worked with physical therapists, personal trainers, and chiropractors to understand how different areas of practice deal with an injury and how manipulate the body. With this knowledge of other areas and modalities Amy is able to use many different types of therapy according to what is going on.

Amy has a B.S. in Social Work from UAB. After working as a social worker for 8 years she decided to finally follow the dream she had since she was 9 years old and become a licensed massage therapist. She graduated from Red Mountain Institute for Healing in 2000.

Amy also has an instructor’s license and taught massage therapy at the Aveda institute.

Amy is also certified to teach CPR and first aid.
