Laura M. O’Loughlin, M.Ed, ALC, NCC

Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies from the University of Plymouth, United Kingdom, in 2009. She received her master’s degree in Counseling and Development: Clinical Mental Health from Winthrop University, SC, in 2014. She is an Associate Licensed Counselor currently practicing under the clinical supervision of Dr. Misty Smith, PH.D, S-LPC. She is also a National Board Certified Counselor.

Laura’s professional background includes clinical work in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings with a number of populations, including developmental disability, traumatic brain injury, offensive/compulsive sexual behavior, substance abuse, psychiatric, and behavioral health. She provides individual counseling services for adolescents (15+) and adults. Her clinical areas of specialty/interest include abuse/trauma, grief and loss, and eating disorders.
