Shane Latham

Are anxiety, depression, stress or family conflict keeping you or your adolescent from experiencing the life you want? Maybe you are struggling with low self-esteem, ADHD, a life transition or relational difficulties. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Shane will help you navigate life’s difficulties and transitions using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches. He enjoys counseling, empowering, educating and motivating clients so that they can identify and tap into their strengths to overcome their unique challenges. Shane believes successful therapy is rooted in unconditional positive regard, a spirit of collaboration, and an understanding of healthy coping skills.  He will come alongside you in your struggle and, through active listening and insight-oriented homework assignments, help you to continue to grow as a person.

Shane has experience providing counseling to individuals, families and groups, with a focus on teens and young adults. He has worked with at-risk youth and their families in a variety of settings. He has also counseled gifted and talented teens, from those with Asperger’s Syndrome to those with ADHD and bipolar disorders. Shane will empower you to utilize your unique strengths and identify beneficial skills to help you in your struggles.

Additionally, Shane is pursuing credentialing as a Biblical counselor. He believes we are all composed of mind, body, emotional and spiritual elements, and so Shane provides faith-based counseling to those who value spirituality as part of the therapeutic process.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys reading and writing, training in self-defense, listening to music and spending time with friends.
